10 Movie Heroes That Saved The Villain's Life

When Peter Parker and Stephen Strange messed up an incredibly dangerous spell that they were warned against performing in the first place, they broke the multiverse. People from across different universes who knew the true identity of Spider-Man were brought into Earth-616.

Strange noted that the five villains they were able to find had all died fighting Spider-Man in their own universe. This wasn’t actually true, but not everyone who came across knew the true identity of Spidey either, but that’s how the stakes of the movie were laid out.

Strange wanted to send them back to their universes to die at Spider-Man’s hand, as was their fate. Peter on the other hand, off the back of the advice given by May, wanted to do everything he could to save them before sending them home, in the hopes that their lives would be spared.

He managed to cure all five of the villains in No Way Home, and though their returns home weren’t shown on screen, in theory this saved all of their lives. Just in case, when Peter 1 was about to impale Norman Osborn for killing May, Peter 2 saved the Green Goblin, though he was really saving Earth-616’s Peter just as much.
