7. Norman Bates
A guy with more mother issues than Jason Voorhees. (Though he ranks a little lower only because, as far as body counts go, he's the more tame of the bunch.) It's clear the thing old Norman never got was hugs and kisses from Mother. All he wanted to do was please her, was make her love him. He was so wrapped up in the knowledge that he was a screw up, always living under her shadow, that he dug up her body to try and continue proving himself to her. He even projected his wicked ways onto her by dressing up like her when he took a life. That way it would be mother that killed those people and Norman could remain innocent. Norm was so screwed up from his relationship with Mommy that he became two entirely different people. He clearly had two options when peering creepily at Marion Crane through that hole in the wall; hug it out or stab her to death. Unfortunately he let "Mother" make that choice for him.
