10 Movie Mistakes Left In To Troll You

7. Repeating The Same Mistake - Psycho (1998)

Gus Van Sant's 1998 remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho was largely dismissed by critics and audiences alike as a pointless, failed experiment: an almost entirely shot-for-shot, full colour re-telling of one of the most enduring movies of the last 60 years.

There's also a totally peculiar mistake within the film, which occurs after Norman Bates (Vince Vaughn) has killed Marion Crane (Anne Heche) and wrapped her body in the plastic shower curtain for disposal.

As Norman carries her body out to her car, Marion's white bra strap is briefly visible through the shower curtain, which of course makes no sense given that she was most certainly nude while taking her fateful shower.

But this "mistake" was actually a total troll on the part of Gus Van Sant, who deliberately included the gaffe as an homage to Hitchcock's original, which similarly featured a brief, mistaken flash of Marion's bra-wearing corpse.
