However, this blooper completely usurps that by having George's hand miss the glass as it's slid along the counter, causing it to fall to the floor and smash. Though it goes against where the narrative is supposed to go, it's simply too irresistibly funny, and should have been included in the final cut; it would make it clear that, though George is trying, he's still a total goof. Besides, the pained reactions of the fellow diners behind him keeps in character and only adds to the hilarity, and Glover's own cringe at the blooper keeps totally in tune with his character's personality.
