It's a well known, and deeply depressing, fact that Brandon Lee was tragically killed during the making of 1994's The Crow. Lee was mortally wounded by a defective bullet mid-shoot and died whilst undergoing surgery shortly after.

Yet, as Lee had filmed the majority of his scenes, the feature was still able to be released, with a stunt double and CGI used for the parts of the feature the leading man had yet to perform in front of a camera. However, a rather morbid myth soon made its way out to the public on the back of the film's eventual arrival. It was said that the actual moment the late actor was shot on set had somehow found its way into the finished article itself.

This distasteful myth was soon debunked by the folks involved with bringing Lee's last project to the big screen as they stated that the footage of the dreadful accident was promptly destroyed before it could even be developed for use in a motion picture.
