10 Movie Pairs You Definitely Don't Want To Mix Up

10. Red

Red Movie One is the soaring final entry in the Three Colours trilogy, directed by Krzystof Kieslowski, exploring the human condition through several weighty filters, and engaging relationships, and the other is a vehicle for a clearly disinterested Bruce Willis to hold on to his unlikely action hero status. The acting performances in the latter may be pleasantly diverting for the most part €“ especially that of John Malkovich who clearly doesn't care for restraint in his older years than he ever did when he was a more sprightly actor. Willis is naturally stunted, because, frankly, that's how he seems in 90% of his films now. The film is horribly cliched, poorly written, and fatally under-cooked, which makes the decision to option a sequel seem baffling. As if you needed confirmation, the French modern classic is a far, far greater film on all levels than the geriatric actioner with the least necessary sequel of the past decade. Handy Watching Tip If you're asking questions about your own existence, and finding yourself compelled to explore your key relationships, there's a good chance you're not watching Bruce Willis drag his presumably aching bones through several horribly cliched action set-pieces.
