9. Elsa Intentionally Gave Donovan The Wrong Cup - Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade
At the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, villain Walter Donovan (Julian Glover) requests that his colleague, art professor Dr. Elsa Schneider (Alison Doody), select the correct Holy Grail cup for him to drink from, in turn granting him eternal life.
But when Donovan drinks from the cup picked by Elsa, he of course immediately begins rapidly ageing and promptly dies, Elsa having picked the wrong cup.
In the moment it's easily missed, but knowing everything we do about Elsa - that she was single-mindedly committed to getting the Grail for herself, ultimately at the cost of her own life - she in fact deliberately selected the wrong cup to kill Donovan.
Given that Donovan was in league with the Nazis, and Elsa - who was also co-operating with them - was briefly shown crying at the Nazi book burning in Berlin, it's clear she had no love at all for either the Nazis or Donovan, merely seeing them as a disposable means to an end to get her hands on the Grail.
