28 Days Later Activist If there's one thing the movies teach you, it's that you should always you should always trust cryptic scientists. You don't get to wear a white coat in a movie for no reason, and the learned folk from the labs can always be relied upon to add some sort of game-changing chicanery to a movie plot. So when the BBC Controller from Alan Partridge tells the militant animal rights activists that the monkeys are infected with 'rage,' you should probably keep that particular chimp in his pen. Yet clearly, the animal activists know better, and one even greets the clearly demented monkey with open arms and absolutely no safety precaution. Hell, even if you didn't know he was host a super-contagious ultravirus, releasing an utterly enraged animal capable of tearing you asunder into your grasp is hardly a wise move. It could easily kill you without all the biological witchcraft, so trusting that opening the door will assuage its insanity is a bit of a leap of faith. Even if you had to release it, stick it in a cage for transportation then monitor it humanely back at base €“ at least then you could check if it's too far gone over time and scientific study. Yet instead, this woman elects to use her ungloved hands, meaning Britain gets ravaged by the fast-spreading virus. Next time guys, trust the scientists leave the killer monkeys in their pens, yeah?
