After discovering that her boyfriend Garrett cheated on her, sorority sister Megan (Audrina Patridge), with the help of her sorority friends: Cassidy (Briana Evigan), Claire (Jamie Chung), Jessica (Leah Pipes), Ellie (Rumer Willis), and Chugs (Margo Harshman), pull a prank on him. During the couple's next hook-up session Megan fakes her own death causing Garrett to appropriately freak out. With help from the sisters, Garrett brings Megan to a nearby steel mill, intent on dumping her body in the lake. After one of the girls mentions that they need to release the air out of her lungs so her body will not float to the top, Garrett stabs Megan through the chest with a tire iron, actually killing her. Well, a "harmless" prank turns real as the girls decide to actually dump their friends body into the lake. Some time later the girls begin to get killed one by one by an unknown assailant. Why couldnt this girl have done the appropriate thing after getting cheated on if she wanted to get revenge?
