5. Twilight Zone: The Movie (1982)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFvkJY5Co0E It is hard to imagine putting children in the path of danger, especially on a movie set. Unfortunately for director John Landis, a strategically placed hovering helicopter managed to kill two children and his lead actor in a freak accident no one would have seen coming. While shooting one of the segments for the movie, accomplished actor Vic Morrows and two children, My-Ca Dinh Le (7 years old) and Renee Shin-Ye Chen (6 years old) were killed when the helicopter they were standing near spun out of control. Morrows and one child were decapitated by the copter blades while the second child was crushed to death. Though several lawsuits were carried out against the directors of the film, including Steven Spielberg, all accused were found innocent of manslaughter.
