10 Movie Props That Appeared In More Than One Film

9. Mr. Fusion

Fusion DoneWhere You've Seen It: Back To The Future II & Alien If it weren't for the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor, Marty McFly would have never been able to travel back to 1955 and almost make out with his mom. Originally a Krups coffee grinder, the Mr. Fusion was able to convert ordinary household waste to power the DeLorean's flux capacitor and circuitry. It gave us that precious 1.21 jigawatts of power needed to jumped around the space-time continuum. But that wasn't the first time Mr. Fusion had appeared onscreen. The first time we got a shot of the tremendous piece of equipment was in the 1979 horror/sci-fi juggernaut Alien. One of the scariest movies of all-time, the Coffina (Mr. Fusion's less-futuristic model name) can be briefly glanced in the kitchen area of the shuttle Nostromo. It's quick, and you really have to be looking for it to make the connection. Perhaps Doc Brown traveled forward in time and left it aboard the ship as a gift for Ripley and company?
