5. Johnny Cage vs. Goro - Mortal Kombat

Anderson's surprisingly entertaining cheeseball adaptation of the Mortal Kombat video game build up Goro as one of the film's big antagonists, as he easily lays waste to one of Johnny Cage's best friends within seconds. When he's set to face off against Cage himself in "Kombat", we can't help but wonder how Cage could possibly make it out alive. The showdown itself regrettably fails to live up to that promise as it treats audiences with utter contempt, imagining we have only the memory of a particularly stupid goldfish and therefore cannot remember how tough this four-armed monster actually is. Way to completely undermine the film's most impressive enemy by having Cage fire fists of fury into his nuts until he's able to lob him off a cliff edge. Terrible.
