The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony is most closely associated with Cruel Intentions, the smart-as-a-whip 90s retelling of Dangerous Liaisons (and it's source material, Les Liaisons dangereuses), but that ignores the fact that the soundtrack also includes cuts from Marcy Playground, Counting Crows, and Fatboy Slim.

Still not sold? That's completely ignoring the fact that Blur are also featured on the soundtrack, with Coffee & TV, and one of the best songs on the entire album: Placebo's Every Me Every You.

In the end, it's that track along with Bittersweet Symphony that really makes Cruel Intentions one of the best soundtracks of the 90s. It's not all that surprising that the film had a memorable soundtrack, mind you - it was, after all, one of the films that really defined the decade, even if it came right at the end of it.
