10 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (March 14th)

7. The Flash & Aquaman Solo Movies Aren't Prequels

We know that the solo movies for The Flash and Aquaman are respectively set for release on March 16 and July 27 in 2018 respectively, but as they're still set to make their debuts in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, those involved with the productions have been pretty tight-lipped about it all. However, Batman v Superman and Justice League writer Chris Terrio stated this past week that these movies would "continue the characters€™ stories" after next year's Justice League: Part One, and so aside from flashback sequences, the movies will not take place in the past as delineated origin stories like many expected. This is particularly interesting as it pretty much also confirms that the two Justice League movies won't be separated by a cliffhanger: it seems more likely that the League will battle two separate villains in the films, given the now-confirmed downtime between the two adventures.
