5. Batman v Superman's Marketing Is Hinting At Brainiac's Arrival
Rumours have been swirling for months that, after Zack Snyder quashed the belief that the recent Batman v Superman trailers had spoiled too much, Brainiac may end up appearing at the end of the movie as a set-up for Justice League: Part One. This has been lent greater credence this past week by way of the movie's viral marketing campaign, which includes a website for the Lex/OS operating system, touted as "the worlds first neural network based operating system" which will kick-start an "age of machines that will think for us, freeing up human brain power to tackle the worlds bigger questions." It's not exactly a stretch to suggest that Lex is not only the creator of Doomsday but Brainiac also. Yes, this could just be some playful viral marketing to toy with us, or it could be a not-so-subtle nod to what's coming a little further down the line for Batman, Superman and company.
