Back in the late '90s. Anne Heche was pretty much a household name - from her roles in movies such as Six Days, Seven Nights, Wag The Dog and Donnie Brasco she earned a reputation as an actor worth watching out for, while her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres was a source of frequent gossip in the tabloids. Unfortunately, Heche sank into increasingly weird and unusual behaviour which culminated in a drug-induced semi-naked stroll around the fringes of Fresno, California. After arriving at a stranger's house she refused to leave, insisting on watching a movie, before announcing to the authorities the perturbed stranger had called that she was God and would "take everyone back to heaven in a spaceship." Her eccentric behaviour is sadly less to do with her Hollywood stardom and more to do with her childhood past - Heche herself has stated that she was "insane" for the first 31 years of her life on account of abuse she experienced at the hands of her father.
