10 Movie Trailers That Totally Lied To Audiences

1. Kangaroo Jack

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuhkz4iluSc And yet even that horrendous deception isn't as egregious as the horrific advertising campaign for the awful children's film Kangaroo Jack, which tried to sell itself on the premise of a hoodie-clad, rapping kangaroo who consistently outsmarts and embarrasses Anthony Anderson and Jerry O'Connell. The true nature of the film is that the kangaroo talking and jumping about is a dream sequence and therefore only a very small portion of the film; the rest of it hinges on its live-action characters - who are decidedly less entertaining - spouting fairly inappropriate gags for a film aimed at children, while damaging their careers in the process. Duping an adult is one thing, but to so brazenly lie to kids and their parents is another; it's among the most cynical and insidious types of advertising, to exploit children's naivety for money. Someone should've lost their job over this. Which trailers have you found the most deceptive? Let us know in the comments below.
