4. Kick-Ass
The Movie: The conclusion of Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass' adventures as superheroes, based on the comic series that is currently being written and released by Mark Millar.
Is It Happening?: Before the release of Kick-Ass 2, the answer would have to be an unequivocal "yes", though the sequel's disappointing box office performance - raking in just $38m against a $28m budget to date - casts a shadow of doubt over Kick-Ass 3. Millar is certainly enthusiastic about a third film that brings the series to a close, while Chloe Moretz (aka Hit-Girl) is also interested in returning, to explore the dark side of Mindy's character. She was also hopeful that Matthew Vaughn would return to direct (which just isn't going to happen). Though Kick-Ass 2 was quite the comedown after the original, there's still a vibrant world left to explore, and I for one would totally go see a third Kick-Ass.
Likelihood: If Kick-Ass 2 does good business on home video, then it's possible, but for now, it's on the "maybe" pile.
