After the crapstorm created by last week's rumour that there would be no jokes in any Warner Bros. comic book movies, you'd be forgiven for thinking that we were going to get a slightly lighter news load this week. But the rumour, paparazzi and teasing train just keeps on rolling, with comic movies as usual bringing the bulk of interesting tidbits to keep our eyes peeled. There's been a lot of talk about things that almost were in movies that came out this year (and some that aren't even out yet), including but not limited to Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn revealing some juicy secrets from the blockbuster hit of the summer and what we can expect from Guardians 2. There have also been quite a few not-quite casting announcements that are likely just a week or two from being unveiled to the general public. They're all so tantalising, but you must always remember to keep a salt shaker handy when dealing with the Hollywood rumour mill. On the bright side, there are some much more concrete announcements to celebrate, such as the confirmed (and rather surprising) casting of a major character from one of DC's upcoming but as yet not quite confirmed movies. Hooray for small victories! But we're doing some teasing of our own here, and that's not really fair, is it?
