3. Dwayne Johnson Is Black Adam In Shazam!

It's been a long time coming, both in terms of fan speculation and DC rumour-baiting (not to mention Dwayne Johnson's constant teasing). We all knew The Rock was going to be starring in a Shazam! movie, but we just didn't know whether he would be taking on the role of Captain Marvel or Black Adam. Well, the man himself tweeted this pretty definitive announcement yesterday: https://twitter.com/TheRock/status/507189313579122689 Despite having revealed his role officially, Warner Bros. has yet to announce the movie he'll be starring in, which will likely take one of the 2016 or 2017 release spots the studio revealed a few weeks back. Darren Lemke has been announced as the screenwriter for the upcoming film, but DC seem to be taking a page from JJ Abrams' book in building hype before a film technically even exists.
