10 Movie And TV Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (August 4th)
6. Avengers: Age of Ultron Will Be Even Bigger
Anyone who thought that the next Avengers movie was going to be a dialogue driven, small-scale examination of the superhero psyche can think again. The films director and screenwriter Joss Whedon explained in an interview with The Independent how he had set himself a challenge for Age of Ultron to be even bigger than the first film:
Some things are easier, there's definitely a shorthand with the actors and the studio. But I set out to make it harder. I wanted this movie to be harder to make than the last one and hopefully that will show up on screen so it will be more interesting. I can't wait to be done!
In Age of Ultron we can expect the explosions to be bigger, the battles to be more epic and Hulks rampages to be all the more destructive. Of course there was no shortage of information about the forthcoming superhero blockbuster at Comic-Con but it was nice to hear the director reveal that we can expect the scale of his next film to be drastically increased.
