9. Dennis Nedry (Jurassic Park)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d921M-ACMM4 It's pretty damn clear from the moment we first meet Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) that we're not supposed to take him seriously in any capacity, let alone as a villain. I mean, the guy played douchebag mailman Newman in Seinfeld, so it wasn't much of a stretch for him to play a douchebag computer technician in Jurassic Park. Nedry is a spy who ends up shutting down the park's security grid under the pretense of system maintenance, but this is actually so that he can steal some dinosaur embryos and bring them to his contact waiting to transport them back to the US. However, Nedry is a victim of his own bumbling idiocy; he ventures out into the rain and is set upon by the very same dinosaurs he just allowed to run rampant. If his overweight appearance and amusingly-anagrammed surname weren't indication enough (nedry = nerdy), there's no way to take seriously a baddie who can be so smart and so stupid at the same time.
