10 Movie Villains Who Actually Got Away With It

8. The Creeper (Jeepers Creepers)

Even the most invincible of horror movie monstrosities usually suffer a defeat by the end of the movie, taken down by the final survivor who followed the set of rules laid out by the Scream franchise to the letter, but that wasn't the case with the Creeper.

The Jeepers Creepers big bad establishes himself as an unstoppable force of nature who's seemingly destined to go on killing for eternity. The final scene where he's removing a deceased Justin Long's eyes double underlines that point.

Even Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees suffer a few gunshot and stab wounds while they're slaughtering their way through the movie's cast, but the Creeper emerges from the first movie almost unscathed. Sure, he's injured at one point, but the two sibling protagonists pose no threat to him throughout the film.

The monster finds steeper resistance in the sequel Jeepers Creepers 2 when Ray Wise's Jack Taggart takes the fight to him with a harpoon, but to date, the Creeper is an undefeated heavyweight champion within the horror genre.
