10 Movie Villains Who Died Happy

3. Max Zorin - A View To A Kill

Villain deaths don't get much more deliriously entertaining than that of A View to a Kill's Max Zorin (Christopher Walken), who shuffles off his mortal coil with a goofy-ass smile plastered on his face. Look, psychopathic happiness is still happiness, alright?

The Bond flick's finale takes place atop the Golden Gate Bridge, with 007 (Roger Moore) eventually besting Zorin and leaving him clinging gingerly to the edge of the bridge.

In surely one of the most brilliantly unhinged moments in the entire Bond franchise, Zorin lets out a loud cackle like only Christopher Walken could, grinning to himself as he loses his grip, slips from the edge of the bridge, and falls hundreds of feet into the San Francisco Bay to his instant death.

Zorin doesn't get a pathos-filled demise like some of the villains on this list, but he at least seems to appreciate the absurd lunacy of his high-wire expiration.
