10 Movie Villains You Wish Got More Screen Time

9. Count Dooku - Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones/Revenge Of The Sith

Whatever your thoughts on the Star Wars Prequels, there can be no denying that Count Dooku was seriously cool. Played by the legendary Sir Christopher Lee, the Sith Lord towered over everyone else in the room, dispatched both Anakin and Obi-Wan with relative ease, and was set up to be a serious threat.

All told, though, Dooku only appears in the final act of Attack of the Clones (2002), where he duels Anakin and Obi-Wan and wriggles his way out of a fight with his former master, Yoda.

But he survived his first appearance, hammering home the fact that he'd be back to cause more havoc in the next film. But once Revenge of the Sith (2005) did roll around, the villainous Sith was killed by Anakin in the very first act, and rather easily at that.

Now, it's clear that Dooku's death was more about Anakin slowly giving in to his darker impulses and being manipulated by Palpatine, but to have such a thrilling villain cast aside after mere minutes of screen time was quite a poor move in a trilogy made of poor moves.

Luckily for fans, they got to see the Sith Lord's full potential on the show The Clone Wars, but still - he was destined for bigger things in the trilogy.
