The songs are great and the movie boasts some of the best character animation ever put into a film, even to this day. In addition to all that, The Jungle Book is the last movie that Walt Disney produced (he died during its production). In that regard, it is the last Disney movie to feature Walt's fingerprints, which is important in its own right.
