10 Movies From 2016 That Could Score 0% On Rotten Tomatoes
2. Underworld: Next Generation
Release Date: October 14, 2016 Movies in the Underworld series have never done well with critics: the first was slapped with a score of 31% on Rotten Tomatoes, whilst its sequels ended up with scores of 16%, 30% and 33%, respectively. Not a great run. So what hope does Underworld: Next Generation, the fifth film in this ailing franchise, have when you consider the relentlessly negative notices to date? Set to star Kate Beckinsale, who reprises her role as Selene, Next Generation promises to be - pretty much - more of the same. And "the same" was never all that good in the first place. One saving grace might stem from the fact that there's a new director in town, Anna Foerster... but given that she's never directed before, it's not looking promising, is it? It's not like anybody asked for Underworld: Next Generation. Worst still, there's a sixth picture already in production, marking this as one long nightmare that refuses to end.
