10 Movies Nobody Really Enjoyed Making

1. Titanic (1997)

Blade Runner Hell

Cameron strikes again. It might be one of the best films ever made, but the director's 1997 epic was fraught with production issues, on-set injures, angry crew members, crazy working conditions, and shocking behind-the-scenes stories.

The director was his usual controlling self, once again refusing to let his actors and extras go for bathroom breaks and even threatening to fire them if they did at one point, and leading actress Kate Winslet said she'd need to be offered a crazy amount of money to ever work with Cameron again.

The cast had to spend huge amounts of time in ice-cold water, with Winslet even developing pneumonia and many other cast and crew members picking up colds and other infections due to the difficult conditions, with some of them simply walking away from the project altogether.

Several stuntmen suffered injuries, including broken bones, and one disgruntled crew member even spiked some soup with PCP and poisoned dozens of people, including Cameron himself. The shoot also went way over budget and lasted much longer than it was supposed to, leading to an overall experience that many cast and crew members would prefer to forget.
