10 Movies Set To Release In 2021 That We're Worried About

For the love of movies, let's hope these concerns are wrong...

Godzilla Vs Kong
Warner Bros.

While the world has spun off its axis this year, there are still movies heading our way in the near future and potentially some great cinematic experiences to look forward to. As exciting as this is, there are also some concerning films on their way too.

For every good movie on the horizon, there's inevitably going to be a few bad ones, and already there are some upcoming blockbusters that have caught the attention for all the wrong reasons.

That's not to say they are doomed to fail, or that we necessarily want them to, either. It's just that there a few red flags that have come up before their release, whether it's narrative, casting, or behind the scenes problems, that suggest some of these projects may not be as successful as we all want them to be.

All we want is for awesome movies to hit our big screens. Hell, it's what we all deserve. It's just that some movies aren't looking like they're going to be the big ticket, and here's why...

10. Kill Bill Vol.3

Godzilla Vs Kong
Miramax Films

It almost seems like destiny for every successful film franchise to get a modern reboot or sequel, and the same treatment is about to befall the famous Quentin Tarantino creation.

It was always inevitable that Kill Bill was going to get a new movie at some point, but will the mooted 2021 addition fall into the common trap of harming the series' already brilliant reputation?

Just think about some of the amazing old films that have had modern instalments which ultimately damage their image and track record. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, the list could go on forever...

Almost 17 years after the original (2003) and its shortly followed sequel (2004), will the new film be able to capture the same feel and cult-fascination, or will it be doused in the usual effects of a long awaited sequel?

Tarantino is still on to direct, which is a saving grace, at least. Let's just hope that he hasn't lost a hold of what made Kill Bill so unique. After all, it has been almost two decades.
