10 Movies That Accidentally Filmed Things You Weren't Supposed To See

We've all seen those creepy unexplained figures in movies, like the so-called hanging Munchkin in The Wizard Of Oz, or the ghost in Three Men And A Baby.

But while both of those have perfectly reasonable explanations that are well-known within film fan circles, The Fugitive has a ghostly figure that many people miss - and that's because it was removed in some versions of the film.

Early on in the classic action flick, there's a scene where Harrison Ford's character is climbing from a fiery wreckage. While doing so, he looks up, and in the next shot, an unrecognisable face can be seen staring down into the camera, just... watching.

This is one of those curious, accidental incidents that even the filmmakers don't understand. The face wasn't even spotted until the movie was remastered for its 2001 DVD release, and you'd think that, if it was an extra or a crew member, they'd attempt to move out of the frame - but they don't.

Some fans, naturally, think that it's a ghost. This is mainly because the scene was filmed in Dillsboro, North Carolina, not too far away from the site of the 1882 Cowee Tunnel disaster, an event that claimed many lives.
