10 Movies That Aren't Titled What You Think
3. Mission Without Permission Reverted To Original Title "Catch That Kid" For UK Streaming Release
Pretty much the only reason that anyone remembers this 2004 family comedy is that it stars a 12-year-old Kristen Stewart and couldn't be any further from the types of movies she's pursued as an adult.
But in the UK, Catch That Kid was for reasons unknown renamed to "Mission Without Permission," paraphrasing the tagline used on the film's US posters ("They're on a mission without permission.")
Though this title stuck for well over a decade, when the film "finally" had its recent UK streaming premiere on Amazon Prime, it finally reverted back to Catch That Kid.
Neither title is particularly good, mind, but we're going to assume that DVD sales suggested that the original US title was the better option for its global streaming release.
