10 Movies That Missed Out The Money Shot
6. Stealing The Falcon Suit - Captain America: The Winter Soldier
There's lots of action in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but it's a story that's far more invested in weaving a complex narrative web and drawing on the influences of 1970s politically loaded thrillers. It could - and should - have had at least one more huge action sequence however that would SURELY have added to the mythology not only of Captain America but also to the Secret Avengers (as they're later labelled) as a team.
When we see the threesome of Cap, Black Widow and Falcon in Infinity War, we're led to believe they're a hardened team with a darker edge who have been undertaking perilous missions since the end of Civil War. But we wouldn't have needed that to be implied by the director's AFTER Infinity War's release if we'd seen one key missing scene in The Winter Soldier.
In that film, when Steve and Natasha are told that the last remaining Falcon suit is in a heavily guarded vault in Fort Meade, it seems that we're going to see a heist with the two experts in infiltration teaming up to take down a whole complex. But then, even before your excitement has hit full capacity, in the next scene, we see Sam Wilson wearing that same Falcon suit with absolutely no mention of how he got it.
Sure, it's a gag about how powerful Cap and Widow are together, but it would have been nice to see their dynamic in action for the purposes of building some mythology around them as a team.
