2. The Hunger Games
To be honest, I don't see why this hasn't been turned in to a video game. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan boy or a Hunger Games fanatic, but based on the general outlay of the film, a video game could be a massive hit. The storyline may be a little hollow for a video gamer. Let's face it, Katniss really doesn't do anything until the latter end of the film. However, the multiplayer aspect could be a phenomenal hit. Think about it in relation to massively popular games such as Call of Duty, you pitch 24 gamers against one another in an arena, each begin with no weapons, much like the film and you work your way around the arena, picking up what you can and using it to your advantage. This could prove very popular as online gaming seems to be the way forward. Not only that, but for the love of God it brings a much needed change of pace for online gaming. It would be nice to see something other than a bullet firing weapon from the first person screen and instead be forced with a more skilled challenge of using a manual weapon, which I guess would become a little more skilled and hopefully break apart the one dimensional gaming we have at the moment.
