7. Wreck-It Ralph
Disney made the high score with Wreck-It Ralph, a heart-warming and delightfully nerdy tale of a videogame villain on a mission to become a hero. During the film we only really get a glimpse of how different game genres are represented. We see Heros Duty, a sci-fi first-person shooter starring the greatest bad-ass heroine in the history of ever; Sugar Rush, a candy-coated kart racer; and Ralphs own Fix-it Felix, Jr. If we had a whole series about Ralphs further adventures we would get to see a whole gamut of parody games. How about an Uncharted-like adventure game called Archaeology Avenger; a point n click puzzler called Get Away from Chimp Island; or a sprawling RPG called Fetch Quest. Hell, you could even bring in MMOs and have Ralph take on an array of nerds and trolls. Im just spitballing here, but Disney, if youre reading, give me a call.
