5. Daredevil
Since Ben Affleck's turn as "The Man Without Fear" is non-canonical in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe, this truly great character can get the movie he deserves. In a lot of ways, Daredevil is like a blind, less-rich Batman. He uses his abilities and weapons to defend the streets of his city and has a respectable alter-ego. With the right people attached, he also has the capability of carrying a solid solo film. After watching The Dark Knight for the first time, I remember thinking: "Wow, imagine would could be done with Daredevil now." If Marvel brings back the character in the vein of the Frank Miller-era antihero he was in the '80s and '90s, Matt Murdock could certainly hold his own against his big box office contemporaries. To keep Daredevil relevant with the stories of the MCU, Marvel could play up Daredevil's affiliation with S.H.I.E.L.D.. The crux of giving a new Daredevil movie's success hinges on the his relationship with a quality villain: that means either Bullseye or the Kingpin.
