10 Movies You Should Refuse To Watch On Moral Grounds

8. A Serbian Film

On the surface, A Serbian Film appears to be a motion picture generated as a means of igniting untold levels of controversy; after all, its plot hinges on the idea of a former porn star being lured back for "one last shoot" and - in the process - somehow being convinced to go as far as doing things like, oh, raping a baby. For that reason alone, A Serbian Film marks out its territory as one of the most depraved motion pictures ever made. And you kind of get the feeling that that was the point of the movie in the first place; controversy for controversy's sake. In that sense, there's really no need - at least, morally - to expose yourself to 104 minutes of debauchery. Many have argued for its meaning, of course, but there's no real evidence that there is any - not really. It is banned in Spain, Finland, Portugal, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Norway - it's not all that difficult to see why.
