10 New Details You Need To Know About Venom 2
6. Michelle Williams Is Returning For Venom 2, But What About She-Venom?
There was a lot in Venom which didn't work, and Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams' performance was a major disappointment. While some fans believed that she probably didn't want to be there, Williams has since shared her excitement about returning as Eddie Brock's ex-fiancee in the sequel, so chances are it was down to bad direction.
Regardless, she's expressed her excitement to work with director Andy Serkis and noted that she's pushing for She-Venom to get more screentime this time.
Williams could get her wish if recent online chatter is to be believed, because it's said that Anne Weying will indeed don her own Symbiote for a battle with the Shriek/"She-Carnage" character we mentioned a little earlier. That's something that has a lot of potential, and a fun use of this comic book love interest.
Moviegoers expect strong female leads in superhero films these days, so a battle like this would go a long way in meeting those demands and, more importantly, it would be undeniably badass!
