The Drop: "And I'm Ron Burgundy. Go f*** yourself, San Diego." A cult classic and one of Will Farrell's defining roles, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of those hard PG-13 comedy films where we were all stoically waiting for an F bomb to show itself. Will Farrell, playing the part of professional anchorman Ron Burgundy on the KVWN Channel 4 network for San Diego, delivers the signature curse word live on national television (in the film, of course), sitting alongside his future wife Veronica Corningstone, played by Christina Applegate. While I'm not too keen on Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy, I can appreciate some of the humor applied, and often times crowbarred in. Will Farrell doesn't quite sell his movie characters, but by including a little bit of shock value f-bombing he wins the battle.
