9. Young Peter Meets Yondu - Guardians Of The Galaxy
Beyond the death of his mother, there's no moment more pivotal in Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) life than his subsequent abduction from Earth, as is later revealed to be the doing of Yondu (Michael Rooker).
Though the two Guardians movies go a way to explain how Peter became the man that he is today, we've surprisingly never seen the direct aftermath of him being beamed up by Yondu.
Given the second film's particular focus on Peter and Yondu's relationship in all of its problematic complexity, it would've been interesting to see Peter's immediate and presumably traumatised reaction to being kidnapped, following his mother's death no less.
Granted Guardians Vol. 2 already had enough going on, but even so, a flashback to this life-defining moment could've deepened Peter and Yondu's characterisation and relationship even further.
