10. Jena Malone Is Robin

When Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) was spotted on the set of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, fans quickly started speculating about her having a role in the movie, despite the fact that she's close friends with director Zack Snyder. This later evolved into a rumour that she's playing Carrie Kelly, The Dark Knight Returns' female Robin. The actress being spotted with red hair added fuel to the fire, but it seemed too silly to be true. An extra was then quoted as saying that the Robin in the movie is a woman, but it still felt like a rumour people were getting carried away with. Things took a very interesting however when The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Malone is in the movie. They didn't know who as though, so there's every chance that she will indeed be playing Carrie Kelly. Whether or not she suits up as Robin is another thing. Bear in mind that there were rumblings about Nightwing turning up at some point, but those quickly died away, so Batman is without a sidekick as of right now.
