3. Rhino's Brief Appearance

Paul Giamatti appeared extremely briefly on two occasions in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - a far cry from the expectation of his role as Rhino, given how prominently it was depicted in the trailers. That said, despite his minor role, his larger than life performance as Aleksei Sytsevich and his blink-and-you'll-miss-it sequence in the Rhino armour was over-acted in the most stereotypically comic book way you can imagine. All of his lines, movements and facial expressions were hugely exaggerated, giving his character a huge air of unpredictability, which will no doubt add to the danger he poses in future movies when he inevitably becomes a member of the Sinister Six.
