Dark and unique indeed. Her betrothed is none other than Randall Flagg himself. Cross is described as attractive yet complex and cold. Along the way she forms relationships with various members of the Boulder Free Zone, but that nagging sense of future destiny never allows her to completely feel free. She makes one last desperate attempt to break free of her shackles of doom, only to see that fail. Dejected, she accepts her fate - a fate worse than death. Charlize Theron has shown incredible range throughout her years on the big screen. Her performance in Monster as serial killer Aileen Wuornos earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress. She has just the right combination of vulnerability and strength to bring Nadine Cross to life. And clearly Attractive and Charlize Theron are on a first name basis.
