10 Perfect Castings For Nathan Drake In Seth Gordon's Uncharted Adaptation

Yes, Nathan Fillion features. No, he's not top.

In case you haven't heard, the Uncharted adaptation that David O. Russell was originally set to direct is now back in production and will be helmed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief). And while he is certainly an unorthodox selection to hold the reigns for what will assuredly be a massively-budgeted blockbuster action adventure film, the real success of the movie ultimately lies in appropriately casting everyone's favourite wisecracking treasure hunter, Nathan Drake. And no, it isn't Mark Wahlberg. Casting Nathan Drake requires an actor that oozes charisma and has a knack for delivering amusingly sarcastic quips that put into perspective just how absurd the events unfolding around him are. It also requires an actor who can closely resemble the physical appearance in charming good looks to reel in the ladies, but more importantly someone who will look awesome pulling off death-defying leaps of faith in the trademark white shirt and blue jeans. Seth Gordon and his casting team have their work cut out for them, but if one looks hard enough in the ever-growing pool of acting, they are sure to find many suitable candidates. Here are 10 that they should consider.
