2. The Babysitter 2: Killer Queen
In the original movie, the young hero Cole discovers that his babysitter was in fact a member of a satanic cult. Like all needy teens, this girl needed some attention and figured the best way involved sacrificing the blood of the innocent.
The result was a cheesy but appropriately gruesome YA horror flick. Even the weedy Cole managed to find a spine from somewhere, emerging victorious against the forces of darkness at the film's climax, surviving for the sequel. As it happens, so did Bee, the eponymous queen and deranged killer, thus The Babysitter was back for more.
When things take a predictable turn in part two, all hell literally breaks loose again and Cole, now at a lake party, realises that Bee's Satanic cult has been resurrected. Bee is back for his innocent virgin soul and after some decapitations, immolations, boat propellor dismemberment and melting faces, events take an unexpected twist. While Cole was a changing his pants, Bee was having change of heart, touched by the fumbling love between baby Cole and teen squeeze Phoebe.
During the post credits, the sand on a beach blows away, revealing Bee's book of spells to be intact, foreshadowing the awaiting curse of the sequel that's bound to hit VOD as soon as actors are allowed to kiss on set again. A classic sting that sets up for a sequel and that's no bad thing teen for horror fans.
