6. The Amityville Horror - Jodie At The Window
The Amityville Horror is a pretty tame horror film yet it single-handedly produced the scariest scene of all time as far as Im concerned. I remember enjoying it as a ten year old.....until a certain scene turned my blood to ice. And changed me forever. The scene in question has dated pretty badly but it still scares the crap out of me. Kathy Lutz is tucking her daughter into bed and her daughter tells her she was just talking to her friend, Jodie. Kathy thinks it's just her daughter's imagination and so she smiles and goes to close the curtains. And thats when she looks out into the night and sees two red eyes
staring right back at her! She jumped back, and ran from the room. Whilst I jumped back and dropped the worlds largest turd in my Y-fronts. From that day forth - and to this day - I squeeze my eyes shut and turn my head away when I go to close my curtains at night. About 3 years ago, I once woke in the night to catch part of my radio alarm clock in the mirror. I saw two beady red eyes. And I crapped myself once again.
