10 Predictions For 2016's Most Iconic Movie Deaths

2. Denzel Washington Or Chris Pratt - The Magnificent Seven

Cause Of Death: As a loose adaptation of both Seven Samurai and its western remake, the original The Magnificent Seven, it's fair to say that one of the two protagonists, played by Chris Pratt and Denzel Washington, probably won't make it to the finish line.

In the inevitable final standoff against the bandits, one of the two will be gravely wounded and die an epic, gunslinging death, angrily firing every remaining bullet they have before succumbing to their wounds with grand honour, possibly redeeming themselves for their previously shady ways.

Why It Will Be Iconic: Because Pratt and Washington are both, of course, statuesque actors who we don't see die on-screen all that often (or pretty much never in Pratt's case).

After the inevitable exhaustion of the prior two hours of action, the death scene's going to feel majorly cathartic, especially if there's as much bro-ing out between the two actors as we expect. It's going to be a classic western death scene: steely, bada** and a little bit emotional.
