4. Steppenwolf - Justice League

Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) is Justice League's Big Bad, bringing with him an army of Parademons in an attempt to claim the three Mother Boxes which would grant him and his uncle, Darkseid, enormous power.

The obvious narrative trajectory here is that Steppenwolf will be defeated by the League in the third act, setting up Darkseid's arrival for the next movie. It'll require the League to combine their abilities to repel Steppenwolf, and if it doesn't give into CGI excess (admittedly a distinct possibility), this could be an awesome scene of fanboy wish fulfillment they won't soon forget.

Not that they forgot the underwhelming fight from the end of Batman v Superman, either...
