10 Predictions For 2019's Most Iconic Movie Deaths

9. Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) - Star Wars: Episode IX

In fairness, there's no 100% guarantee that Leia (Carrie Fisher) is going to die in Star Wars: Episode IX, but considering that Carrie Fisher passed away almost three years before the movie's release, it would certainly be the most logical option for writing her out.

After all, between Leia's near-death in The Last Jedi and Episode IX being established as the "finale" to the Skywalker Saga, it makes all the sense in the world for the Star Wars brand to be fully handed over to the younger generation of heroes.

We know that Leia will appear in the film via unused takes from the two prior movies, though whether they're incorporated as flashbacks or not is totally up in the air.

Either way, it's highly likely that Leia leaves the mortal realm just as Luke (Mark Hamill) did at the end of The Last Jedi, and fans will surely be left shedding tears.
