Any potential Jurassic World sequel must avoid the temptation to follow the fate of the park itself in creating more "spectacular" dinosaurs that never existed. It's quite the temptation: create a mega-villain for each movie. In the story itself, the park felt it had to create bigger, better, badder dinosaurs. Only, you don't. There are tons of scary beasts in the dinosaur kingdom that have yet to be portrayed on screen. Was the Indominus Rex any scarier, really, than the Tyrannosaurus Rex? No, not in the end. Oh, it had some cool tricks like regulating body heat and being able to camouflage itself like a chameleon, but, really, all that was window dressing. The series runs the risk of trying to one-up itself in terms of creatures, at this point - and any sequel needs to nip that in the bud immediately and focus on a strong story and compelling characters.
