7. Fitting Everyone In

The term "ensemble" has applied to a number of superhero movies to date (Avengers, Days of Future Past etc), but this potential merger would take the term to new, unprecedented levels and assigning a worthwhile amount of screen time to each of the stars would be almost impossible. Characters have already been wasted on smaller scale projects than the ones this merger would produce, with guys like Hawkeye and Cyclops getting pretty rough deals in their respective franchises. So, imagine if the same thing ended up happening to guys like Captain America or Charles Xavier due to the simple problem of not being able to fit them in for prolonged lengths of time. It would be a hideous waste of both excellent characters and top acting talent and would undoubtedly tick off a number of character fan-bases as a result.
